How long will I be in the water?
You will be in the water for approximately 50 mins - 1 hr.This includes the warm up and cool down.
What will I wear?
You can wear togs, t-shirt and shorts, rash shirt.
Do I have to be a swimmer?
Absolutely NOT. We do not swim we use exercise equipment.
What if I have had a hip or knee replacement?
We have exercise programmes designed by our bachelor of health science students.
What if I know I need an operation soon?
Hydrotherapy both pre- and post- op is essential for fast recovery. You can use Hydrotherapy to strengthen muscles before your operation. If the muscles are stronger before the operation, recovery time will be reduced. If you know you are going to be on crutches, we can work with you to strengthen arm and back muscles before your operation.
It's been years since I have been in the water.
You don’t need to be a swimmer, and you have an instructor and students in the water with you and you never have to put your head or face under the water.
Will I be expected to put my face under the water or get splashed?
Absolutely NOT.
Will I have to keep up with everyone else?
As mentioned before, session are tailored to your individual needs, that is why we have an instructor and students in the water with you.
I am a man, is it suitable for me?
Yes most definitely suitable for all adults.
Will there be loud music?
No, only light background music.
THERE IS NOTHING PHYSICALLY WRONG WITH ME, BUT I WOULD STILL LIKE TO COME AND EXERCISE?
Yes definitely preventative health.
